Built World Cup 2026 raised over £11,000 to help fund Brave to Rebuild restoration efforts in Ukraine
84 games, three trophies, and over £11,000 raised for Brave to Rebuild, helping restoration efforts in Ukraine.
On Friday 8th May, ING co-hosted the second annual Built World Cup alongside The Developer, bringing together 24 teams from across the Built World for a day of football, fun and fundraising for an important cause.
After missing out on a coveted Pineapple at last year’s inaugural event, and following a great (almost unbeaten) run from Team ING, we proudly lifted the Vase.
After battling through the group stages and knockouts, it was Bishopsgate Goodsyard who lifted the Golden Pineapple Trophy, defeating Populous in the final. Congratulations also to Faulkner Browns who claimed the Plate.
All of this was in service of something bigger than the score. Every tackle, every goal and every penalty shootout contributed to raising £11,311.53 for Brave to Rebuild, exceeding our original donation target. The funds will go directly towards repairing a school shelter in Bucha near Kyiv, ensuring these a safe place for children to return to in-person learning.
ING is proud to be one of the founding organisers of the Built World Cup. From a crazy idea in the pub to a truly impactful (and fun) day of fundraising.
Thank you to every team that played, everyone who donated, to event sponsor The Crowd and host sponsor Bishopsgate Goodsyard, and to all the volunteers who gave their time to help deliver another fantastic day.
See you on the pitch next year.
