ING is launching its fourth year of Elevate. We are inviting applications for our programme, offering an intensive and completely bespoke package of PR and communications consultancy for emerging businesses run by leaders from ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Applications to join ING’s 2026 Elevate cohort are now open.

Targeted at small businesses run by leaders from backgrounds under-represented in the built world sector, Elevate gives participants access to a network of like-minded peers and a tailored package of PR and communications support from ING, designed to raise the profile and visibility of their emerging business.

Participants take part in a half-day workshop with ING consultants, along with seminars and events on topics such as social media marketing and effectivenetworking.

This year’s cohort will join the growing community of small business leaders in the Elevate Empower Network. A quarterly forum that brings all Elevate members together as peers to share opportunities, discuss challenges and spark new ideas.

ING takes part as a partner in the room, offering guidance where it adds value. However, the strength of the network comes from its members. To date, theseinclude representatives from 18 businesses that have joined Elevate over the past three years.

We are excited to welcome new founders who can share their perspectives and grow alongside a supportive group of peers. Members also gain access to all key ING events, where they can meet our wider network, including developers, architects, and journalists.

What is Elevate?

Elevate is both a network for SME business leaders and a communications accelerator programme for small businesses in the built world offering bespoke pro bono PR, marketing and business development consultancy through workshops with ING consultants.

Who is eligible?

The Elevate programme is for small and emerging businesses within the built environment with less than 15 employees and run by at least one person from a background under-represented in the industry.

How do I apply?

Applying is simple - just email ING at elevate@ing-media.com with a couple of sentences on your company, your ambitions and why you would like to take part by 1 May 2026. ING will review applications and then appoint the cohort later that month.
